Out and About
The new lambs went to the back pasture over the weekend. Molly and her lambs were the first to arrive.
A few of the others needed their attention drawn to the open gate, but when they saw it, they came quickly.
The lambs love to play on the piles of dirt.

Last but not least: Molly
Molly lambed one week ago. I forgot to write a blog post about her until I was preparing to share pictures of all the other lambs. Whoops.
Molly lambed early in the morning last Thursday. Her first lamb is a solid dark brown ram. He attempted to run all over the barn while Molly was delivering her second lamb. Her second lamb, although a ewe, looks almost exactly the same. The ram lamb is Espresso; the ewe is Mocha. Their father is Hawk, and although they are solid brown it seems they will be much darker than him.
That's all the lambs for this spring! The rams did break into the ewe pen in January, but it looks like we may have escaped without consequences. Fingers crossed!
