Caught In the Act

Several of the elderly chickens still escape the pasture on a daily basis.

We've been wondering who has been pooping in the ram water.  I think we know the answer.  It's a good thing Cormorant is cute.

I had a great picture of Elvira and Cyclone lined up...  Then Adelie walked right through it.

Adelie and her lamb Tsunami followed us the entire time we were picking rocks, even after the other sheep became bored.

Most of the ram lambs have moved in with the big boys.  The adult rams-- Oregano, Cormorant, and Hawk-- have been great.   The new boys:

Almond is getting along with his new roommates, too.

And Now It's Muddy

It rained even more since the last time I posted.  Overall, we've had a lot of rain.  Everything is a big muddy mess.

Surprisingly, Eagle is not muddy; that's his natural color.

Somehow, Lightning has managed to stay clean.

Czadas, followed by Equinox, one of her lambs from this year.
