Our busy season has begun! We have a lot to do to get ready for shearing and lambing. Today was mainly spent on routine tasks. We started with a trip to get feed and shearing supplies. Then, it was time once again to move hay bales.

Barack is helping: testing the hay bale for safety & quality. |

Barack is not the only one excited about a new hay bale. |
Scott raked the pine needles. The pine needles were covering a lot of green grass that the sheep could've been eating. They were excited to see it uncovered.

Barack helps rake, of course. |
 |
"Woo hoo! Green plants!" |
Barack also protected us from the bull.
 |
Barack is a busy guy. |
We did yet another udder check....and I saw some udders! I think it's safe to say that Elvira is definitely pregnant.

And just because she's cute: Filly.
